Building the plugin builds Enigma2 too. The OE-A bitbake has a dependency on Enigma2. The biggest problem I have with this plugin that it is hacking the lamedb and userbouquets and then reload these bouquets instead of 'directly' creating the bouquets and add channels to the lamedb via e The code has been in PLI since before Any information provided on this site is not guaranteed in any way.
